The pre-wedding dinner

We had a blast at the festivities celebrating Kristin's and Chris's wedding on August 26th. It was fantastic to see the family, and we all really enjoyed visiting Portland: walking around the Pearl district, riding the streetcars, going to the Oregon Zoo. Malcolm was very excited to attend the wedding, and declared Kristin the most beautiful bride ever.

We followed up our visit with a week at the beach in Manzanita, where we took many naps, built enormous sand castle fortresses, and flew kites.
