Highlights from summer break

We just had a nice summer week, with Malcolm done with preschool at Beacon Day School, and home for a week before starting kindergarten at our local public school. Guy took the week off and we enjoyed hanging out at home and taking day trips to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, where we saw walruses, penguins, and other creatures (and Thomas the Tank Engine!), Heart's Desire beach at Tomales Bay, and the Oakland Zoo, among other places.
